Hi Claire, we're delighted to hear you were pleased with the quick delivery and packaging. Thanks for choosing Garden Sanctuary!
We needed to replace an old gate.
I could have built it myself.
Having priced the timber and hardware I decided to compare the cost of a ready made gate.
After finding this product it was cheaper and easier to buy this than spend time and more money doing it myself.
The gate is well made and fitted straight in.
Definitely would recommend this.
Hi Michael, thank you for sharing your positive experience! We're glad the gate met your needs and that it was a convenient solution for your garden. We appreciate your recommendation and hope it serves you well for years to come!
Neat, tidy design that looks really smart. It is thin and flimsy so had to be reinforced with some additional wood on the back to add some weight and hefty especially as I wanted to use some reclaimed iron hinges and fixings. Looks great now it is hung.
Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you like the design and that you managed to reinforce it to your satisfaction. Enjoy your garden gate!
Not a very strong gate !! Flimsy

Very good value for the money.
But would be better if it was a bit stronger.
Probably be a bit more expensive but would be worth it
91CM Wide Pine Wood Garden Gate with Latch
Bought lightweight Wooden gate to be used as entrance to back of house. The gate measured Ht 152 x 91 cms wide, not an exact fit for opening with idea to cut/trim to suit opening.
On receipt of gate noted damage to cardboard package & 1 hinge protruding from bottom of packing. When I opened the packing 1 off the diagonal wooden member was cracked (15 cms lg) where the top hinge was to be fitted, my opinion a weakness in construction, should have been corrected by makers In my opinion not really suitable for British weather extremes, time will tell.
Ordering and delivery very smooth and it was good to come complete with fixings. As for the quality, well it's got a nice finish but feels very light and I wonder if it will withstand "gate life" very well. Only time will tell, I suppose......
Door was just as described. Perfect
A little flimsy but strong enough to keep visiting small dogs out of the main garden. Had to remove the braces and re-align them as the gate could only be hung in one of four positions.
Arrived promptly. Size as requested . Was expecting thicker wood and fixtures were very flimsy. But overall what you pay for is what you get .
Very good product, good value for the cost. Very prompt in delivering. I would use them again.
Great transaction - easy order - great value - the door is light weight but does the job perfectly as do the included hinges and lock. With a lighter door you donโt need heavyweight ironwork / so it all works well - stained up well and very easy to fit - thanks from a Happy customer
